Site planning before the quotation
Share building dimensions, camera locations, internet quality, backup-power expectations and approximate required recording days. Hard-drive sizing depends on the actual codec, bitrate, frame rate, scene complexity and recording schedule. Cable quantities should be based on surveyed routes rather than a fixed estimate.
Project-specific configuration checks
List the measured watts of each essential camera, recorder, router and switch. VA ratings and battery size are not interchangeable with required runtime.
Check inverter efficiency, battery ageing, recharge time and room ventilation. Include a supervised cutover test and a battery inspection schedule in the handover.
