HOW WE APPROACH EACH PROJECT

A clear installation process, from first questions to handover.

These steps describe a sensible technical workflow rather than a guarantee that every project follows one fixed plan. ITSOL Planet on-site installations are limited to Lahore, subject to scope confirmation.

STEP 01

Understand the site

Identify coverage areas, entry points, security goals, existing equipment, utility power and broadband reliability. Ask the owner which views are actually necessary and which locations should stay private.

STEP 02

Confirm the technical specification

Agree camera viewpoints, lens options, DVR/NVR compatibility, recording capacity, backup power and network connectivity. Installation scope and product availability are confirmed before a quotation is accepted.

STEP 03

Discuss cable routes and safety

Plan mounting positions, environmental exposure, reachable service access, weatherproof junctions and cable paths. Any work touching electrical or fire-safety systems needs a suitably qualified installer and relevant compliance assessment.

STEP 04

Install and configure

Install the approved equipment, then configure recorder channels, power, network addressing, account permissions and storage policies. Use secure credentials and do not expose devices publicly without a documented security need.

STEP 05

Verify operation and hand over

Check the expected views during day and low light, review recording playback, confirm retention expectations and test owner-authorised remote access. Document the system and explain basic operation to the designated contact.

STEP 06

Plan maintenance

Agree practical checks for disk health, device cleanliness, cables, time settings, software updates and backup power. Service frequency depends on environmental exposure and usage.

How to prepare for a site discussion

Provide the property type, general location within Lahore, planned number of cameras or doors, any existing equipment model numbers and whether you need continuous recording during a power interruption. A floor plan or photos of installation locations can help planning, but do not send confidential access codes in an enquiry.
